This standard deck girder bridge crosses Clear Creek in Coralville.
Built in 1953, the bridge replaced a through truss span which had seen the end of its useful service life. It is unknown if this span was scrapped, or moved to be reused elsewhere on the system.
Consisting of two deck girder spans, these rest on concrete substructures.
Overall, the bridge is in good condition.
The author has ranked this bridge as being minimally significant, due to the modern age and common design.
